About Us

Hello!  I'm David and I have taught Spanish language and literature classes for over twenty years at home and abroad.  I've organized and led study abroad  programs to Spain, Mexico, and Argentina.  I believe travel is a form of education that challenges our sense of who we are in the face of contrast and difference.  Mark Twain said it best when he observed that "broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime."  I'm looking forward to guiding you through a country and region whose history, language, literature, food and wine offers special delights and unique discoveries that will leave you wanting to learn more and more about it for years to come.      

Welcome! I'm Brian and I have been teaching Early Modern Spanish Literature and Culture for 15+ years as well as traveling and/or living in Spain for more that 20 years. I hail from the wine country of Oregon, where my interest in viniculture took root in the creamy flavored Pinot Noir and sharp Pinot Gris. My love of travel, the culinary arts and wine has spurred my interest in cultural studies, affording me nuanced historical and cultural details that will enhance your tour experience.

I’m Leticia, originally from the beautiful city of Salamanca, home to one of the oldest universities in Europe and a place steeped in history, art, and tradition. I’ve spent more than fifteen years teaching English and Spanish language and literature, and I also had the pleasure of participating in a study abroad program right in my hometown.

Traveling is one of my greatest passions. I love discovering the world through its people, languages, and flavors, especially with a good glass of wine in hand! As a native of Salamanca and a true admirer of its landscapes, language, and cuisine, I’m delighted to share with you a taste of my culture and help make your experience even more memorable.
